An evening walk by the lake. A swim at the Lake Club. A newer home in a neighborhood that puts Dallas, Fort Worth and DFW Airport within reach. Viridian brings these advantages together in North Texas, giving buyers a place to enjoy life close to home while staying connected to the rest of the Metroplex.
I’m Gary Weintraub, Real Estate Broker & Owner of DFW Seller Realty, and I live in Viridian. When I help buyers explore the neighborhood, I encourage them to see the community alongside the homes. Here are six reasons to take a closer look.
1. Recreation is part of the neighborhood
The Viridian Lake Club offers five pools, including a lap pool, adults-only pool, and kids’ sand pool, along with shaded places to relax and gather. That makes an afternoon by the pool something you can plan right in your own community. Explore the Lake Club.
Elsewhere in Viridian, tennis and pickleball add more ways to spend time outdoors. You can choose a home with the recreation you enjoy. Community amenities.
2. HOA value deserves a closer look
When comparing neighborhoods, consider what the association dues provide for the amount you pay. In my view, Viridian’s range of recreation and community spaces makes that especially worthwhile.
The community’s published standard residential assessment is $345 per quarter, equivalent to $115 per month, as listed on its HOA page updated February 18, 2026. Payments are quarterly. Townhomes have an additional service-area assessment of $900 per quarter; other applicable assessments and amenity or program fees should be confirmed for the home you choose. Current published assessment information.
My suggestion: Review the dues, amenities and services side by side with the other neighborhoods on your shortlist. The fee alone doesn’t tell the whole value story.
3. A central location connects you to DFW
Viridian sits in North Arlington between Dallas and Fort Worth, with DFW Airport a short drive away. That location is a practical benefit for people who travel regularly or want access to destinations across the entire Metroplex. Community location background. The community is situated approximately 25 minutes from both downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth.
4. More opportunities to enjoy the outdoors
Walking and cycling paths, lake views and open space are a large part of Viridian’s appeal. Trails connect with the River Legacy system, extending the possibilities for a walk, run or bike ride. Parks, trails and recreation.
The community also offers places such as Arrowhead Dog Park, Fossil Park and Overlook Park. Visiting a few of these stops can help you picture the everyday experience of living here. Explore the community map.
5. Lake activities close to home
The Viridian Sailing Center adds another distinctive option: sailing and paddleboarding on Lake Viridian. Annual passes for an additional low fee are available for purchase, with courses and activities also offered. Sailing Center information.
6. Local perspective can make your search more useful
A neighborhood tour should help you connect the amenities and location with the homes that fit your needs. As a Viridian resident and real estate broker, I can help you compare available properties and plan a visit that gives you a feel for the community.
Once you find a home you love, we’ll work through the property details, costs and next steps so you can move forward with a clear picture.
